Update - Friday 8:35am

As time passes Brandon's system becomes more used to the sedation drugs that they have him on. Last night he was able to move around, point and shake his head. As you can imagine it is pretty hard to see your child like that. His parents felt like he was trying to communicate something to them but they just couldn't understand. Leave it to Tom to point out that he could be so out of it that he was trying to tell them to go and feed the elephants! After a few hours of playing with the medications Brandon was able to settle down and rest. Right now he appears to still be sleeping. The doctors will be doing their rounds shortly. If anything gets scheduled for today, I will let you know.

I am a friend of neither parents, but a friend of a friend who knew the father and who showed me this blog and I just want to say that I am very impressed and I will have he and his family in my prayers. He is a fighter and will survive all this and will be looking at life in a new light. God Bless the person doing this and my God bless the family...And to this young handsome young man, keep fighting...
